Y-COP Making Strides Against Breast Cancer!

Y-COP & Brooklinen Team Up!

The Power of Community Partnerships

Through our partnerships with other like-minded mission-driven organizations throughout the County, Y-COP can provide additional services and opportunities to the families we serve.

  • Special thanks to The Westchester County Department of Health and the Child Care Council of Westchester for donating 80 COVID-19 Self-Test kits.
  • Many thanks to the Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center for making it possible to distribute more than 400 N95 Disposable Masks to our parents.
  • We want to give a shout-out to Volunteers of New York through their long-standing corporate partnership with REGENERON. The employees there volunteered their time to create more than 2 dozen financial literacy kits for Y-COP KIDS. SAVE. SPEND. DONATE. This is the best opportunity to teach our children the value of each.
  • Much appreciation to the United Way of Westchester for introducing Y-COP to the corporate offices of Brooklinen on Long Island. Y-COP staff & board members (Ms. Donna Brown, Ms. Zinobi Duncombe, and Mr. Kevin Bunch) traveled to Long Island to collect an elaborate assortment of weighted blankets, towels, sheets, pillowcases, bathrobes, and other top-quality linen. Due to this generous donation, Y-COP distributed more than 100 bags to nearly 15 organizations and other families in the community.
  • We are proud to partner with the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau S.T.R.O.N.G. Program for the 2nd year in a row.
  • The Greater Hudson Valley LINKS sponsors a STEM Program each month for the Y-COP After School youth to learn about the Science and Art of Designing Jewelry.
  • Kudos to Backyard Sports for the Thursday afternoon Soccer Lessons at the dome.
  • Continue to support the Fleetwood Deli Café on Gramatan Ave. They continue to be Y-COP’s biggest supporter and sponsor of our After School Dinner Program and Fun Fridays.
