Above and Beyond Award

This award is given to individuals or organizations that have gone above and beyond to help Y-COP youth participants build their self-esteem, develop social skills, work in teams, and prepare for bright futures.

clover_degallerie

Clover Degallerie has a passion to serve and a heart to help. In April 2003, she began a journey of faith with God as the leader and source of strength and founded Acts of Love.

Acts of Love, a non-profit organization, began with a summer mentoring program launched in response to the negativity and lack of motivation that middle and high school students voiced concerning education. Many summers after its launch, the program continued to successfully generate awareness about the importance of education.

monique_harding

Monique believes that it is not enough to do what you must to be successful, but you must be willing to help others. To share your God-given talents with those who may not have the opportunities that you have, so they too can reach their full potential. There is so much untapped potential in our Mount Vernon youth, waiting to be revealed. Y-COP is working to unmask that which lies within. Monique is more than happy to assist Y-COP on that journey.
