Kevin has been a Board Member since 2017 and serves as the first Vice-Chair of the Board. He is a certified EMT paramedic and received his Masters in Social Work in 2019 from Hunter College. Kevin also serves as Y-COP’s Summer Day Camp Health Director.

Crystal Collins is the Special Assistant to the Westchester County Executive, in charge of Community & Public Relations. Crystal has served as a Y-COP Parent liaison and Board Member since 2015.

Karen Ford joined the Y-COP Board in 2019. A long-time resident of Mount Vernon, Karen is on the board of the Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center. After 37 years with the Westchester County Department of Social Services as a Supervisor & Manager, Karen retired. She has worked with Assemblyman Gary Pretlow, Senators Joseph Galiber & Susie Oppenheimer; former Commissioner of Human Rights in Mt. Vernon. She also served on the board of Mt. Vernon Recreation Department.

Jenn joined the Y-COP Board in 2019. She resides in Eastchester. She attended Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. Jenn works at Blakley Tree Company in Mount Vernon for 19 years as the account manager.

Roberta played a key role in Y-COP's reintroduction to the community in 2012. Former City Councilperson for Mount Vernon, Roberta has been the Executive Director of Community Service Associates, Inc. for 25 years. CSA is a not for profit agency located at The Mount Vernon Armory. It is a vital organization to the Mount Vernon community as it provides more than 70,000 meals a year to anyone in need in the lower Westchester area.

A 40+ year resident of Mount Vernon, and gone too soon due to COVD-19, Rosyln Edwards commitment, hard work and dedication was instrumental in instilling positivity to youth, seniors, family and friends throughout the years. She was a co-founder of the Mount Vernon Razorbacks. She received numerous awards for her outstanding community service and dedication to youth and senior citizens.

A community organizer for more than 15 years, Windy Fong is a member of the Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce and NAACP. She works closely with audiologists around the state to improve the quality of the hearing impaired through communication.

Robert joined the Y-COP Board in 2020. He is the Director of Legal Services and Business Development for Greenpoint Global Corporation based in Rye, NY. Robert received his J.D. from Columbia University Law School and his B.A. from Drew University and has nearly 20 years experience in the legal recruiting industry. He lives in Mount Vernon with his wife and three children.

Kim Wilson Owens is the Vice-Chair of the Board. She is a retired Social Worker with the Mount Vernon City School District. She is a longtime dedicated and committed member of the First United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon.

A Bronx native, John is a key proponent of Technology in Education & technological readiness for children of diverse backgrounds for spending his spare time teaching underserved parents & students about technology and employing/placing 50+ individuals from low-income backgrounds in jobs in the tech field. Professionally, Mr. Witherspoon has lent his knowledge to Law Firms, K-12 elite day schools, and an Education Publishing company, and serves on the Executive Boards of a Charter High School in Brooklyn. John brings an expansive resume to Y-COP by assisting with digital productions like our yearly Gala and Journal.

Jacqueline Warner is a seasoned attorney and the Founder and Prinicipal of the Law Office of Jacqueline Warner. Prior to starting her own practice in February 2014, Attorney Warner served as Special Counsel at the National Law Firm of Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP, in White Plains, New York. She began her legal career at the international law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She regularly advises clients on estate planning and probate matters, how to start and grow their business, and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
