Woodson, Editor-In-Chief of the Black Westchester Newspaper, come in and greet the kids to tell them about his life story and travels around the world!
The kids got to hear about what his life was like growing up, his experiences as a rapper, and his call to action when he returned home to Mount Vernon. Afterward, we let the kids ask Mr. Woodson some questions so that they could find out for themselves about life lessons that they’ll meet on their journey growing up. Overall, we were excited to have Mr. A.J. Woodson with us, and we will always be welcome to have him again in our Y-COP community.
